Delhi Daredevils clinch Thriller, beat Hyderabad by 4 Runs

Delhi Daredevils, which ended their 11-match losing streak in the previous game, produced another clinical display to clinch a thrilling four-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in an IPL 8 match in Visakhapatnam.

Delhi had posted 167/4 in 20 overs, thanks to Shreyas Iyer (60) and JP Duminy (54). In reply, Hyderabad started well and were 120/3 at one stage. However, they lost the way in the middle.

Finally, they needed just 10 runs off the last over with four wickets remaining. But, they lost two wickets and scored just 5 to lose the match by 4 runs. Coulter-Nile bowled a dream over to deny SRH a victory.

Sunrisers Hyderabad finished at 163/8 in 20 overs. Warner (28), Bopara (41) and L Rahul (24) were the top contributors. JP Duminy, who took four wickets, was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
