Norwester creates havoc in Odisha, huge properties damaged

Normal life was thrown out of gear when Norwester accompanied by thunder and lightning hit several parts of Odisha leaving a damage to trees and property.

Several trees were uprooted and houses were thatched due to Norwester in Salepur block in Cuttack district.

Strong winds and heavy rains also occured in Khurda and Nayagarh district as well as in the capital city.

Vehicular traffic became standstill in several places as the trees were uprooted and fell on the road.
