Odisha EOW arrests 3 Directors of Oscar Chit Fund Scam

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha Crime Branch Police on Tuesday arrested the three directors of Oscar Chit Fund Company for allegedly duping investors.

Among three directors one is belongs to Surat in Gujrat. A property dealer also arrested for linked with the Ponzi firm, sources said.

The remand period of Oscar Chit Fund Company Chief and film producer Prabhas Chandra Rout which is ending today, Crime Branch needs more 7 days remand for further investigation in this issue.

Earlier, Prabhas arrested by EOW for allegedly duping investors of Rs 230 crore.

Crime Branch on Tuesday traced more properties of the Chit Fund Company.
