PM Modi to celebrate Diwali with ITBP Jawans in Uttarakhand

modi-armyPrime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Chamoli in Uttarakhand on Saturday to celebrate Diwali with the troops of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

PM Modi had celebrated his first Diwali with army in Siachen in 2014 and second Diwali last year on the Punjab border with Pakistan. This will be the third successive Diwali for the Prime Minister.

This year he will visit to Mana Gaon village of Chamoli sector. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will accompany the Prime Minister to the last village of Indian territory along the border with China.

Earlier, the Prime Minister had urged people to send their good wishes to soldiers on Diwali, said such messages will boost their self confidence.
