Naveen rehabilitates BJD Leaders with Plum Posts

ONI Bureau:  After the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik named candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election in the State on Wednesday and handed over party tickets to them today, the CM picked up some of his party leaders who have worked for strengthening the party.

As per the report, Rabi Mallick (Kakatpur), Girish Chandra Das (Balasore) and Iswar Panigrahi (Koraput) were appointed as three new members in State Planning Board.

Likewise, Muna Khan appointed as Chairman, Cashew Development Corporation, Pravat Aditya Mishra, appointed as Chairman, Agro Industry Corporation, Ramakrushna Das Mohapatra as Chairman, Small Industry Corporation and Krutibas Patra- Chairman, APICOL respectively.

Meanwhile, Odisha Cabinet has approved hike on prices of Kendu leaves by 25% per bundle. Kendu leaf pluckers to get 100% bonus; binders & seasonal workers to get 20% bonus.
