Raja Swain donates Rs 1 lakh Prize money to Kerala Floods Victims

ONI Bureau:  BJD’s Athagarh MLA Ranendra Pratap Swain, popularly known as Raja Swain on Friday donated his prize money (Rs 1 lakh) to Kerala flood victims.

The noble act of the six-time legislator Raja Swain came after he was conferred with the Pandit Nilakantha Samman (Best Legislator Award) for the year 2015 by the Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik yesterday.

Worth mentioning, the CM conferred Madhusudan Das Samman,  Gopabandhu Das Samman and Pandit Nilakantha Das Samman to 24 MLAs for the years from 2009 to 2016 on Friday.
