Shanghai Composite Index up 0.26 Percent at 3,651.77 Points

Beijing, Dec 22: China’s stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.26 percent at 3,651.77 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index climbed 0.85 percent to close at 13,139.13 points, Xinhua reported.

The ChiNext Index, which tracks China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.35 percent to close at 2,839.85 points.  (IANS)
