Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ banned in Pakistan

Bollywood film Raees, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has been  banned in Pakistan due to its “objectionable” content. The film was scheduled to hit Pakistani cinemas on Sunday.

Pakistan’s Censor Board on Monday said the content of the movie portrayed Muslims as criminals, wanted and terrorists.

On the other hand, Rahul Dholakia directed Raees crossed Rs 150-crore mark in the domestic market.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is also a co-producer of the film, plays a Muslim gangster in the film.
