Hon’ble Minister, Public Enterprises and Finance Pradip Kumar Amat was inaugurated the workshop and stressed upon for the development of the State PSUs in general and their employees in particular.
While addressing, the Hon’ble Minister has expressed regarding extension of the tenure of State Renewal Funds Society (OSRFS) under the Department of Public Enterprises for a further period of five years w.e.f. 03.12.2014 to accelerate the reform process of State PSUs for their improvement of Financial health & Human Resources.
He has also addressed in the workshop on various applicable provisions of the amended Companies Act, 2013 and other Corporate Laws which will be very much helpful for discharging the official duties and responsibilities as Managing Director, CMD, Functional Directors and Independent Directors of the PSUs .
Sri Vijay Arora, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises emphasised for smooth working and safe custody of the assets of the PSUs. He has also proposed to reward the efficient employees of the PSUs, which will create enthusiasm among the employees of the Corporation to develop positive attitude.
On this occasion the Hon’ble Minister has unvailed the compendium published by the Department of Public Enterprises on the circulars and office orders issued for the PSUs since 1995 to 2015 which will be immensely helpful for the state PSUs and the relevant Departments.
The workshop was attended about hundred participants. Sri A.K. Parida, Addl. Secretary, DPE gave the welcome speech and Sri M.S. Mishra, Deputy Director, DPE gave the vote of thanks in the Workshop.
