Economics Times-TNS Survey gives Thumbs Up to PM Modi

A survey conducted by the Economics Times in association with TNS, has given a big thumbs up to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government’s performance. Here are the key features of the survey:

* Narendra Modi highly popular among the Indian Middle Class.

* On a scale of one to 10, Modi gets a score of 7.68 against a lowly 3.61 for Rahul Gandhi. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley does better than him at 5.86.

* 41% of those surveyed gave the PM a rating of 9 or 10.

* The government has an overall approval rating of 86% on economic performance, while 62% say that it has delivered on job creation and 58% expect the future to be better.

* 46% believe Government handled JNU controversy well. 52% believe Congress is responsible for rising anti-national activities in India.
