Modi’s Ministers get less Foreign Trips than UPA Ministers

At least 45 proposals of NDA Ministers to travel abroad, were either rejected by the PMO or withdrawn by Ministers. Under the UPA Rule, 265 clearances were issued to the Union Ministers to travel abroad from May 26, 2013 till May 6, 2014 even though it was the election year. But, during the NDA rule, only 123 clearances were granted by the PMO in the same period.

PM Modi has undertaken 20 foreign trips so far ever since he came to power. The details were revealed by a RTI query.
