10 District Collectors in Odisha asked to submit report on Babas

In the wake of rising incidents of land grab of self-proclaimed Godmen or Babas in Odisha, the Central Range Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) has directed 10 District Collectors to collect all information on the land grabbed by all Ashrams and other installation of such people and submit a report within 15 days.

The Collectors have been asked to collect information on both government as well as temple land. After Sarathi Baba, Sura Baba, Bana Baba, Shankarananda Giri and many others have been accused of illegal land grab.
