300 more Buses to Puri during Rath Yatra

Expecting large number of pilgrims visit to the Jagannath Temple, Puri during the Rath Yatra scheduled on July 6, the Odisha government has decided to ply 300 more buses to Puri.

Under the chairmanship of Transport Commissioner Chandrasekhar Kumar, a preparatory meeting of the State Transport Authority (STA) held.

There will be 24-hour bus services to Puri during the festival. In order to provide emergency services as drinking water and ORS to the visitors, the association has decided to open camp at Kalpana Square in Bhubaneswar, Badambadi bus stand in Cuttack and at Puri bus stand, said the Secretary of All Odisha Private Bus Owners’ Association.
