ONI Bureau: After a brick kiln owner allegedly threw acid and cut the finger of Odisha labourers in Andhra Pradesh, a team of the Labour department rescued seven labourers stranded at a brick kiln in Vizianagaram of Andhra Pradesh yesterday.
Out of all rescued labourers, five are from Sundargarh district and two others are from Bargarh district.
Worth mentioning, after two labourers asked for their wage, the owner allegedly threw acid on one and chopped off the finger of another labourer.
After the incident came to light, five labourers had managed to escape from the brick kiln.
