BBJM observes 11th Anniversary of Kalinganagar Firing today

To commemorate 11 years of the firing incident at Kalinganagar, in Jajpur district in Odisha, where 13 tribals protesting land acquisition for a steel plant of the Tata Group in Jajpur district were killed by police, the Bisthapan Birodhi Jan Manch (BBJM) observed Martyr’s Day today at Kalinga Nagar.

Hundreds of tribals hold a huge rally for the martyrs those who had lost their lives in firing during the construction of boundary wall for the plant site on January 2, 2006.
