ONI Bureau: Truck driver of a speeding 10-wheeler truck who allegedly ran over the children that killed at least five school students on thursday, was nabbed by police from the nearby Asura village in Bhadrak district.
The incident occurred on NH-16 at Ranitela near Rahanja of Bhadrak district when the children were returning from school.
Police also resorted to lathi-charge and fired rubber bullets and tear gas to control mob that had blocked the National Highway 16 after torching the truck.
