BJP Delegation meets Governor; Demands separate Ballot Boxes for ZP candidates

An eight-member BJP delegation met Odisha Governor Dr. SC Jamir at the Raj Bhavan today and demanded separate ballot boxes for Zilla Parishad candidates and single day counting during Panchayat Polls 2017.

During the meeting, the delegation included BJP’s State BJP President Basant Panda sought Governor’s intervention into the matter.

Reportedly, the State Election Commission on Tuesday announced dates for coming three-tier Panchayat Election which will be started from February 13 and will be in force till the end of poll.
