Boat capsizes in Odisha; Two died, another missing

At least two women died and another went missing missing on Monday after a country boat carrying about 11 people capsized in river Mahanadi near Telenda ghat in Ulunda block of Sonepur district, Odisha. The boat lost its balance due to strong winds.

According to reports the body of Sashi Mahalik (60) was fished out, another woman Kamphal Bagarti who was found in critical condition, died on the way to the district headquarters hospital.

While some of the passengers able to save their lives by swimming, some were rescued.
