CM Naveen Patnaik reviews Post-Demonetisation Situation in Odisha

The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday held a review meeting with the Government and Bank officials to take stock of the post-demonetisation situation.

The Chief Minister reviewed the demonetisation situation & directed Banks to ensure hassle-free services during the deposit and exchange of demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes for all, especially to those who are living in interior areas.

The CM instructed the bank authorities to start mobile banking services for the benefit of common people.

Keeping the desperation over the exchange of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Centre has decided to keep post offices in all states open on Sunday.

All Banks have been told to allow customers to withdraw Rs 10,000 cash on a single day and Rs 20,000 in a week.
