Dhenkanal Collector suspends 10 Gram Panchayat Officers

In a big development, 10 Gram Panchayat officers of 5 blocks have been suspended by the District Collector of Dhenkanal for failing to fulfill the target under Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana and Indira Awas Yojana.

The suspension orders were issued only after the names recommended by the Project Director (PD) of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) for delay in constructing the houses.
