Dreaded gangster SK Hyder, who was undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital drugged the guard and fled.
The gangster was admitted to SCB Hospital last month for kidney related ailment. He was serving life sentence at Sambalpur Circle jail before that.
A total of six policemen were deployed at the Surgery ward’s cabin no 3, where he was undergoing treatment. They were allegedly drugged by his associates.
The police, meanwhile, has formed four teams to trace the gangster. CCTV footages are also being monitored to get clues.
