The call records telecast by Kanak News shows that Krushna Nayak (who had joined BJP recently) had talks with Golak Mohapatra a day before the murder of Laxmidutta Pradhan. The duo had talks even on the day of murder.
As per the details, Krushna Chandra Nayak was in touch with Golak Mohapatra even after the murder. Even, when he went into hiding in Uttarakhand, he called him at least 19 times from a different number. As he was a prime accused in the murder case, it could be difficult for Golak Mohapatra to answer why he was in touch with him.
Earlier, Krushna Nayak had revealed that he was assisted by “Golak Bhaina” (Golak Mohapatra) to hide at the State Guest House in Dehradun. Although Golak Mohapatra and Dharmendra Pradhan tried to put up a volt face yesterday, the leaked call records may spell trouble for the party.
BJP Spokesperson Sajjan Sharma raised questions on Ganjam Police, saying why they are leaking the call records to public/media instead of submitting those to court. He alleged ‘political conspiracy’ in this case.
