Mahanadi Row: Chhattisgarh Govt to submit facts at CM-level Meeting

The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to submit all facts regarding the construction of barrages in the upper catchment area of Mahanadi River in a tripartite meeting going to be held in Delhi this month.

Notably, the Chhattisgarh government claimed that they had already sent all the required facts to the Odisha government regarding the construction of barrages.

But, the Odisha government maintained that they have not received any letter from Chhattisgarh government regarding the Mahanadi projects.

In this regard, The Union Ministry for Water Resources hold a meeting with Senior Officals of both Odisha and Chattisgarh on July 29.
