Man strangles his daughter to death in Balangir

A man killed his daughter at Samalai village under Patnagarh block last night by pressing her throat, for having a love affair with a boy of different caste.

The body of the deceased was found near the railway line.

A complaint was lodged by her grandmother at the Railway Police Station against her son who was absconding after killing her daughter.

The body of the girl was sent for autopsy and was reported as pregnant.
