ONI Bureau: For the first time, suspended BJD MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda has named CM Naveen Patnaik’s Private Secretary VK Pandian in public, as he hit out at forcible inauguration of his MPLAD project in Marshaghai block.
“This is how low Pandian has taken the once proud BJD”, he lashed out. “As per the MPLAD rules, the State Govt/District Administration must arrange the inauguration of MPLAD-funded projects with concerned MP. But, it was not followed. Is it a Breakdown of System,” he asked.
Jay Panda was referring to today’s Overhead Water Tank inauguration in Purusottampur village in Kendrapara by Marshaghai Block Chairman Sitalata Parida without his consent, saying the suspended MP has lost moral right to inaugurate the project.
