ONI Bureau: The Nandankanan Biological Park on the outskirts of Odisha Capital celebrated its 59th foundation day today.
On its Foundation day today, a Vulture conservation and breeding centre has been inaugurated at the Zoological Park.
The Zoo will welcome a number of new species soon including the rare yellow anaconda and giraffe under the animal exchange programme, chief wildlife warden Sandip Tripathy informed today.
Worth mentioning the Nandankanan Zoo was dedicated to the public on 29 December 1960.
