Narasingha Mishra claims 150 Infants die at Sishu Bhawan Every Month

The management, administration and healthcare facilities are in a complete mess at Sishu Bhavan, Cuttack. There is a shortage of staff, lack of infrastructure and inadequate equipment.

While the death toll has reached 41 in the last 8 days, Congress leader Narasingha Mishra has claimed that around 100-150 infants die here every month and the trend has been continuing for the last three years. The issue has come to limelight only due to the media.

Who will take the responsibility for the “mass murder” of our infants??? It’s high time Chief Minister and Health Minister take responsibility and apologise to the people of Odisha, while improving the system at Sishu Bhavan.
