Nayagarh Crackers Factory Blast; Death toll reaches to 7

The death toll in the Nayagarh crackers factory blast increased to seven today as another person succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Expressing grief over the incident, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik declared Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the family members of deceased persons.

It is to be noted that, the cracker factory, situated at Itamati in Nayagarh district, was suddenly caught fire that led to an explosion on Friday.
