Nuapada Killing: 4 SOG Jawans Arrested, CM announces Rs 10 Lakh

All four SOG Jawans arrested for beating youth to death at Soseng Camp under Komna police limits of Nuapada. CM Naveen Patnaik has ordered a judicial probe and announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to deceased’s family.

The jawans were accused of detaining three youth on theft charges and beating them mercilessly. One of them succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Chitta Ranjan Sahoo.
