The Chief Minister dedicated a portal (www.citizenportal-op.gov.in) of the Odisha police on the occasion. Using these services, people can lodge complaints with police officials and also seek police approval for organizing rallies, demonstrations, or protests.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik speaking on the occasion said that “No need to visit to any police station or higher police office for filing complain or any other work, people can use the online portal. I thank the Odisha police for this people friendly initiative”.
Using this portal, people can file FIR, request FIR copy, register reports over missing persons, loss of property, request for availing Character Certificate, conducting event or performance, tenant verification and employee verification. Police officials said that the online services will be effective from December.
