Odisha CM asks Officials to take advantage of Social Media

In a significant development a couple of days ago, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asked the government departments to use social media aggressively to build a direct rapport with common people and address their issues in a time-bound manner.

The CM also asked the government departments to make their websites user-friendly and attractive and keep updating at regular intervals so that users get current and accurate information.

The Department of Electronics and Information Technology will be the nodal agency to ensure the directives issued by the CM, while the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department will manage the content.
