Odisha CM orders probe on women’s stole removal incident in Sundargarh

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday expressed displeasure over the disrespect to women shown by police at a meeting in Sundargarh district on Sunday.

The Chief Minister asked DGP B K Singh to probe the matter and ensure such incidents does not re-occur elsewhere in future.

It is to be noted that the police personnel asked women to remove black stoles, shawls before entry to a public meeting addressed by the Chief Minister in Sundargarh district on Sunday.
