ONI Bureau: The Nandankanan Biological Park was celerated its 58th foundation day today with wonderful decorations and colourful lights and a new Himalayan Black Bear enclosure.
On the occasion of its 58th foundation day, the Forest & Environment department secretary Suresh Mohapatra announced a slew of developmental projects including multi storage parking facility with an estimated cost of Rs 30 crore.
The toy train which has stayed the most attractive part of the visit to the place will be restarted by the next financial year, Mohapatra added.
Nandankanan Zoo was dedicated to the public on 29 December 1960, is one of the finest parks in the country.
