ONI Bureau: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) has detained for allegedly raping and impregnating her niece, a minor girl at Fatehgarh area in Nayagarh district. The culprit ASI Brajabandhu Mallik was posted at Dasapalla police station.
Reportedly, the minor girl who was staying alone with her mentally challenged father is now five-months pregnant.
However, wife of Mallik termed it as a conspiracy, saying her husband is being falsely implicated in the rape case.
