Seashore Chief’s wife Jyotirani Sarangi arrested in Chit Fund fraud case

Odisha Police on Tuesday arrested Jyotirani Sarangi, the wife of Chief Managing Director of Seashore Group of Companies, Prashant Dash.  The Commissionerate Police arrested Jyotirani in fraud case. Seashore Chief Prasant Das is also in jail for duping thousands of depositors in the state.

Jyotirani sent to Jharpada Special Jail after her bail plea was rejected by the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM), Rourkela.

As a member of the board of directors of Seashore, she was interrogated by the Central Bureau of Inestigation (CBI) in December 2014 in connection with the Seashore Chit Fund Scam.
