Shatabdi, Jan Shatabdi to run daily instead of six days a week

With an aim to provide comfortable journey to the commuters and to avoid rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway has decided to run Shatabdi & Jan Shatabdi Express trains daily instead of earlier six days in a week. Shatabdi Express on Wednesdays and Jan Shatabdi Express on Sundays will run as Special Trains till 1^st June and 29^th May 2016 respectively.

Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Special Train: 02278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Special train will leave Puri at 0545hrs o­n every Wednesday and will reach at Howrah at 1340hrs o­n the same day between 11^th May to 1^st June 2016. In the return direction, 02277 Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Special train will leave Howrahat 1425hrs o­n every Wednesday and will arrive at Puri at 2200hrs o­n the same day during the period.

Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Special Train: 02074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Special train will leave Bhubaneswarat 0600hrs o­n every Sunday and will reach at Howrah at 1240hrs o­n the same day between 8^th May to 29^th May 2016. In the return direction, 2073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Special train will leave Howrah at 1325hrs o­n every Sunday and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 2010hrs o­n the same day during the period.​
