ONI Bureau: The Supreme Court will today hear a petition on alleged mismanagement and exploitation of devotees at Puri Jagannath temple.
In this regard on Tuesday the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) filed an affidavit at the apex court mentioning that the visitors will have a hassle free experience and the offerings made by them will not be misappropriated.
Earlier the Apex Court directed Puri district Court to look into the matter of missing keys of the Ratna Bhandar and exploitation of devotees at Puri’s Jagannath Temple at the 12th century shrine.
SC further asked the Government to constitute a committee and submit a report in this regard by June 30 and directed Orissa High Court to conduct hearing in this regard.
