ONI Bureau: The Supreme Court on Friday quashed the FIR lodged against the officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for wrongly raiding the house of a sitting judge of the Orissa High Court, Justice CR Dash.
The Apex Court said the investigating agency and its officers had already apologized for the mistake to the concerned judge whose residence was raided.
In this regard,the members of the Orissa High Court Bar Association launched cease work in protest against the raids.
However, CBI clarified that it didn’t raid residence of sitting Orissa High Court judge.
