“The young entrepreneurs are very much enthusiastic in establishing MSME units. Banks cooperation is highly necessary to finance those prospecting entrepreneurs. In fact, the employment generation and to make youth self reliant is possible through promotion of MSME sector in the state. This is the foremost Challenge before the banks for extending cooperation in these aspects. Hence, banks should regularly review the financial condition, viability of MSMEs and provide credit facility in time by which they can grow, prosper & repay the loan in time,” he added.
In the workshop under the Chairmanship of Sri N.Palai, Director of Industries, OSIC MD Sri B.B.Behera, SLBC Convenor Sri A.K.Samantray and General Manager of SIDBI Sri S.S. Acharya were also present. More than 200 participants attended the workshop.
In the Technical Session, B2B meeting was held, where 32 trade enquiries were made between MSMEs & bankers amounting to Rs.20 crores of business proposals.
