ONI Bureau: Riding high on magnificent centuries of skipper Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, India thrashed Pakistan by 9 wickets in Super Four in Asia Cup 2018. With this, India remain the only undefeated team in the tournament.
Earlier, Pakistan posted 237/7 in 50 overs. Fakhar Zaman (31), Sarfraz Ahmed (44), Shoaib Malik (78), Asif Ali (30) were the top scorers. Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each.
Chasing a victory target of 238, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan added 210 runs for the first wicket. India reached 238/1 in 39.3 overs. Rohit Sharma remained unbeaten on 111, while Shikhar Dhawan made 114. Dhawan was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
