In reply to Australia’s 530, India bowled out for 465 in the first innings. Harris took four wickets, while Johnson picked up three wickets. Lyon bagged two wickets. In the second innings, Australia started well, but lost the way after Warner’s dismissal. Still, they held on to reach 261/7 at stumps and extended the lead to 326.
For Australia, Warner (40), Rogers (69) and Shaun Marsh (62*) were the top contributors. Ashwin, Ishant and Umesh Yadav took two wickets each.
