Ajinkya Rahane scored 147, while Virat Kohli was out in the last over of th 3rd day at 169. India finished Day 3 at 462/8 in reply to Australia’s first innings score of 530. They were doing very well at 409/3, but lost quick wickets after Rahane’s departure.
For Australia, Ryan Harris took four wickets, while Nathan Lyon took two wickets. It would be interesting to see what will be difference between two teams in terms of first innings scores. The Test is now evenly poised.
