Earlier, India scored 199/5 in 20 overs, thanks to Rohit Sharma (106), Virat Kohli (43) and Dhoni (20*). Kyle Abbott took two wickets for South Africa. Rohit became the second batsman to score T20 hundred for India after Suresh Raina.
South African continued to dominate the Indian bowlers from the very beginning. Amla (36) and AB de Villiers (51) laid the foundation. JP Duminy (68* off 34 balls) and Farhaan Behardien (32*) took the team to victory with an unbeaten partnership of 105.
South Africa reached 200/3 in 19.4 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Bad umpiring helped Duminy and he powered the team to victory. It proves yet again why DRS is required today. Duminy was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
