Lava to launch Iris X8 Smartphone @ Rs. 8,999

Mobile maker Lava is all set to launch its X series phone Iris X8 on 9^th Feb. The phone will be available exclusively online on e-commerce site Flipkart.com on the same day at 12 noon. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 8998 that will also be available on retail and multi-brand stores across the country.

Iris X8 runs on Android v4.4 Kitkat and that could be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone has a 5-inch IPS 750p display and powered by 1.4GHz MediaTek octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM.

It has 16 GB storage. Lava Iris X8 sports 8 mega pixel Primary BSI-III AF Camera and 3 mega pixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery and connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and OTG support.
