Prime Minister Modi greets Vietnam on National Day

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has extended his best wishes to the people of Vietnam, on their National Day.  “My best wishes to the people of Vietnam on their National Day. Our Government attaches great importance to strong ties with Vietnam”, the Prime Minister said.

Vietnam held a military parade on Wednesday to celebrate the country’s 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and national day here.

Around 30,000 people, including military forces and local residents, participated in the parade at the Ba Dinh Square, where late president Ho Chi Minh had announced the historic Independence Declaration on September 2, 1945, Xinhua reported.
