Daler Mehndi gets 2-year jail term in Human Trafficking case, granted Bail

ONI Bureau: Popular Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi was sentenced to 2-years jail term on Friday after convicted in the illegal immigration case.

After conviction in a 2003 human trafficking case, he have been granted bail and will appeal in higher court, Daler Mehndi told to newsmen outside the Court.

As per report, police had registered a case against Mehndi and his brother Shamsher Singh — who died in last October, accused of illegally sending people abroad in 1998 and 1999.
