Sprinter Dutee Chand felicitated at KIIT University

Promising Odisha sprinter Dutee Chand felicitated by KIIT University after getting a massive shot in the arm after the Court of Arbitration for Sports in Switzerland on Wednesday. Felicitating her, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, Dutee is the pride of Odisha. One day she will bring the medal in Olympics and make proud of India as well as Odisha and KIIT.

The Court of Arbitration for Sports in Switzerland specifically allowed her to take part in the Asian Championships, pending a final decision on her appeal against IAAF’s hyperandrogenism policy.

On the eve of Utkal Diwas, a special function was organized in KIIT, where Dr. Bimalendu Mohanty, former VC, Utkal University of Culture, Odisha; Dr. Sasanka Chudamani, Editor, the Viswamukti; Mr. R. N. Dash, Secretary, KIIT & KISS; Prof. P. P. Mathur, VC, KIIT University amd Dr. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar were present.
