A 6.8 magnitude earthquake has hit central Myanmar, and was felt in India, Thailand and Bangladesh.
In India tremors felt in many parts of Odisha, Bihar, Bengal, Assam and some other parts of east and northeast India.
Metro services temporarily suspended in Kolkata after the tremors were felt in the region.
According to US Geological Survey, the quake struck at a depth of 84 kilometres. There have no reports of loss to life or property as of now.
