Bangalore Civic Polls Tomorrow, 198 Wards go to Polls

Voting will be held on August 22 for the 198-seat Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Council. 50% wards reserved for Women for the first time.

In 2010, BJP had won 116 wards, followed by Congress (62) and JD (S) – 14. Congress, which has the government in Karnataka, is aiming to capture the Council. But, BJP is giving it a tough fight.
