FIR against Sushil Modi for promising Laptops and TVs to Voters

Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has been booked for promising Laptops, Colour TVs and Dhoti-Saris to voters at an election rally. The case was lodged at Bhabua Police Station against Sushil Kumar Modi. Sushil Modi has alleged political vendetta and said such promises are made by all politicians during polls and this is not new. He has urged the Election Commission to look into the matter.

“I had promised to provide laptops to 50,000 boys and girls if our government is formed in Bihar along with colour TVs and dhoti-saris. It was part of our vision for the people and there is nothing wrong in it,” Sushil Modi said.
